Coffee from Guadalupe’s microlot is noted for its sweet peach cupping notes, possibly a result of the unique combination of catuai on her farm. If you’ve had our “Pear Notes Microlot”, this is closest to that. There is a great balance between sweetness and acidity making it an excellent option for espresso, but versatile enough for other brew methods as well. Fruit notes increase as it cools.
Her farm, ‘Guadajey’, is a combination of all the names of her family members. The farm has expanded and is continuously improving the infrastructure by building better roads into the farm and installing more drying beds. Guadalupe plans to leave the farm to her children when she gets older, but she has plenty of future harvests ahead of her.
