Banko Gotiti is sourced from 600 farmers located in the Gedeo Zone, a section of plateau known for producing some of the best coffees in the world. Many refer to coffee from this region as "Yirgacheffe." Coffees from here are known for their distinct sweetness and fruit-forward cup quality. Private washing facilities in Gedeo Zone are faced with dense competition - having an outstanding final product is essential to compete with other producers. Farmers are given additional compensation based on quality (>85 score). Our hope is to roast and finish the amazing work that the farmers started.
